The nation's top law enforcement official, the Attorney General, confirmed Habba's resignation on the start of the week. In a statement that the court's "flawed" ruling made it unworkable for her to lead the department effectively.
"Do not interpret adherence to the ruling as defeat," Habba stated. "My fight will now reach across the nation."
